Ed the Puzzle Man with a satisfied customer
Ed the Puzzle Man with a satisfied customer

"I have two little boys ages 3 and 5. I had been searching extensively for high-quality, wooden puzzles of all of the continents for them to play with. I could not find anything that satisfied me until I met ED THE PUZZLE MAN.

It may surprise you that I actually visited the Puzzle Man at his home in Colfax, California. He told me that I was the one and only customer who had ever paid a visit. I saw his factory where he makes all of the puzzles by hand. He takes great pride in his work, and it shows. After a brief tour, my wife and I bought a huge stack of his beautiful puzzles.

Several times per week, the four of us plop down on the living room rug and work on puzzles. Central and South America for my 3 year old (He is now getting rather good at the United States, too!). Europe, Asia, and Africa for my 5 year old. I am proud yet slightly embarrassed to admit that my boys can now locate Slovenia, Tajikistan, and Burkina Faso quite a bit faster than I can. It’s nice that the puzzles are up to date, given all the recent changes among the former Soviet republics and the Balkan states. My wife and I have improved our geography as well – the puzzles are not just for kids!

The puzzles are large, sturdy, and brightly colored. They beat anything you can find in a regular toy store by a long shot. Even the smaller countries are well-suited for little hands. Best of all, we don’t need to worry about losing the occasional piece – the honorable Puzzle Man will replace it free of charge. These puzzles are a rare and special find. They would make great gifts, and I think we will be calling upon the Puzzle Man again as Christmas time approaches. "
